Landmarks approves Soho office building for resi conversion

A six-story office building at 40 Wooster Street in Soho is set for a residential conversion, after the Landmarks Preservation Commission approved plans for a restoration and rooftop addition. Ran Eliasaf’s Northwind Group is developing the property, which it purchased for $16.4 million in 2014. The finished product will contain four apartments and ground-floor retail, Curbed reported.
